The Japan 2027 website is finished. It exists in English and Japanese but I can read only one version 🤷‍♂️.

The website maps the 3,000-kilometre route from Cape Sata to Cape Soya, stage by stage, including my planned rest days.

More importantly, it explains what the journey has become:
**Japan 2027 will be a journey of gratitude.**

I hope each kilometre will carry the name and story of someone who saw our potential before we could see it ourselves.

Someone who encouraged us to attempt something we might otherwise have dismissed. Someone whose confidence changed what we believed we could do.

The people who change our lives do not always give us opportunities. **Sometimes they help us believe we are capable of creating them.**

The Japanese version of the website is therefore essential. People across Japan must be able to understand the journey, see when I will pass near them, participate and contribute their own stories of gratitude.

At present, I can navigate the Japanese website only because I know what each page contains. I cannot properly read or understand it.

I continue using Duolingo every day (going strong on a streak over 310 days 💪) and have added two online Japanese lessons each week. When I arrive in Fukuoka this month, I will attend daily lessons in person.

Fluency can come later. **My next language objective is to read and understand the invitation I am sending to people in Japan.**

The website may be finished, but that part of the preparation has only begun.

Before you explore it, consider one question:

> **Who believed in you before you did, and what did their belief make possible?**

That is the question this journey will carry across Japan.
