Meeting creates the possibility of connection. Repetition gives it time to grow.

While cycling around France, I met new people almost every day.

Some offered directions.
Others shared a meal, a conversation or part of the road.

The encounters were often meaningful.
But the following morning, I continued riding.

I will probably never meet any of them again.

**I was meeting plenty of people, but few of those encounters had the opportunity to become relationships.**

That distinction matters beyond the road.

When we feel lonely, we often assume we need to meet more people.

So we attend another event, join another group or try another app.

**But if our lives rarely bring us back to the same people, every relationship remains at the beginning.**

## The Perspective Shift

> ***We may remain lonely not because we meet too few people, but because we see too few people often enough.***

Closeness rarely develops through one exceptional encounter.
It usually grows when life repeatedly brings the same people together.

So before looking for more people, ask:
“Does my life create repeated contact or only repeated introductions?”

**Meeting creates possibility. Repetition gives connection time to grow.**

Walk your talk,
Franck
